Operating through a single point of interconnection (POI), the site needs to comply with California Independent System Operator (CAISO) setpoints and constraints, which are sent remotely, as well as voltage setpoints sent on demand. When not constrained by CAISO or its off-takers, the site should deliver the maximum available amount of real power.

While the facility functions through a single POI, the facility’s developers wanted individual control of each of the four sites and the ability to monitor all data.
