Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be responsible for collaborating on and maintaining Go-To-Market plan to drive significant growth through channel partners, End User, OEM and EPC’s within the large-scale (transmission connected) renewable energy development industry. The position will utilize, existing processes, tools, and collaborate metrics and planning to implement our sales strategy. The role will analyze data gathered through the organization to determine sales potential, industry segments to focus on and fast growth areas to maximize sales opportunities and will be responsible for achieving maximum market penetration and attain the company’s sales growth and order intake objectives. Collaborates across functions to provide direction and implement changes that drive sales growth. This position will be responsible for creating new channels, new products & propositions and new sales based on renewables participation for commercial and industrial customers; with a slant towards virtual, offsite and community solar style participation. As part of Yokogawa, PXiSE Energy Solutions is accelerating its growth and now have the backing of a global industrial automation company with a shared vision for a sustainable energy future.


  • Contribute to the growth of PXiSE by playing an active and communicative role as a member of the PXiSE Sales Team by providing input and perspective on policies and ethical guidelines, Processes and Programs for our sales team (Source Analysis, Opportunity Management, Account Planning, and Opportunity Action Plans)
  • Ensure we deliver our collective results including sales targets, new account acquisition, portfolio expansion within existing accounts, and profitable growth within the large-scale renewables industry.

  • Track and execute sales to meet/exceed global forecasts, planning tools, scorecards, metrics, outlined in the annual sales plan primarily focusing on both new and existing channel customers to execute strategy.
  • Drive new and existing customer sales strategies, tactics, and processes leveraging Yokogawa/PXiSE offerings and solutions.
  • Be constructively critical of our market solutions, thoughtfully recommending/implementing improvements focused on maximizing our go-to-market strategy and overall value proposition.
  • Work to ensure timely and thorough administration of current sales contracts.
  • Provide avenues and viable solutions to resolve first-line sales issues. Contact Technical/Product support team for support when necessary.
  • Establishes relationships with large and strategically important customers.

Project Manager

PXiSE Energy Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to manage customer satisfaction, improve margin, responsible for overall management of projects from initial conception through project completion. The PM will ensure projects are completed in a timely, efficient, and profitable manner while maintaining customer satisfaction by scope definition, planning, monitoring, and controlling all project resources and relationships.   • Manages all project planning; i.e., works with customer and project team to clearly define scope and ensure clarity of project technical schedule and budget requirements, performs billing and cash flow planning, manpower loading models; implementation plan with time lines, ensures complete understanding of customer needs by key personnel, shares information with team members; responsible for developing and maintaining required project records. Maintains consistent updates of project plan, budget and schedule.
  • Manages cost reduction on projects while improving customer satisfaction.
  • Manages project quality by ensuring PXiSE quality plan is implemented throughout the project.
  • Implements/utilizes tools provided to aid in managing/directing project activities.
  • Responsible for contract growth through change order management and development of customer relationships to broaden/expand scope of work based on customer’s needs or expectations.

  • Responsible for contract compliance, including all terms/conditions scope, financial, insurance, etc. Responsible for improving cash position of each contract within terms/cancellations of contract.
  • Develops and oversees project completion and site mobilization plan; i.e. ensures integrity of final system; conformance to contractual requirements, system acceptance by customer, delivery of specified system documentation and services; controls expenses and defines completion plans for personnel; ensures orderly transfer of project to Customer Service for long-term support; responsible for archiving project records, documentation, system tapes, and transfer of customer-accepted system with required documentation for warranty services and maintenance.
  • Serves as PXiSE’s primary contact and focal point to the customer during the project; i.e., provides interface between PXiSE and the customer, involves other PXiSE personnel as appropriate; prepares all required reports; arranges joint PXiSE/customer project meetings; ensures customers are aware of evolving system characteristics; resolves any miscommunication; ensures customer satisfaction is maintained; makes periodic job site visits.
  • Works with or acts as Proposal Manager on customer requirements; i.e., reviews RFP (Request for Proposal) and specification, coordinates with sales and marketing to determine scope of work and is responsible for scope definition, prepares and/or approves all cost estimates, develops preliminary implementation plan, may assist in the estimating, proposal, and sales process, controls final negotiations on engineering/construction project.
  • Performs various management duties; i.e., provides data for YCA reports; keeps sales and marketing aware of customer interfaces; ensures project team members have the equipment, facilities, training, personnel and authority necessary to meet their objectives; interfaces with Accounting, Purchasing, H.R., as necessary.
  • Depending on the project type and scope, the Project Manager may need to perform some of the engineering tasks.


  • Demonstrates leadership qualities with project personnel, supports corporate EEO policies, conducts goal setting and performance reviews for assigned personnel. Responsible for development of personnel through training, coaching, and work assignments.
  • Evaluates and identifies solutions to improve overall project profitability.

Project Manager I Skills:

  • Manages multiple (4-8) low to medium complexity projects.
  • Works closely with supervisor to ensure/protect contract activities are consistent with procedures and customer requirements.

Prior Experience:  Four (4) to eight (8) years in renewable energy or utility space with prior experience to have included some limited management of engineering/technical staff.

Must be willing to travel for job assignments, maintain a rapport with customer representatives, and be dedicated to quality, service, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Quantifiable Indicators:  Numbers of projects and  their dollar amounts are widely variable from year to year for any specific project manager. Amounts are typically one to several million dollars, but could be much higher.

Software Developer

PXiSE provides a software-based grid control platform that maximizes the efficiency and production of energy generation from solar, wind, and energy storage to deliver advanced control functionality and economic optimization in real-time.

As a Software Developer at PXiSE, you will create software applications that will shape the future of the electric grid. Your primary responsibilities will be to code, test, support, document and maintain software components and systems. You will be a part of a team with decades of domain and software development experience. You will contribute to both new products and enhancements to existing products and will work closely with other teams at PXiSE to deliver high-quality software for our customers.


  • Write data processing and algorithmic applications to achieve specific optimization and control functions.
  • Develop object models and data transfer objects for use with various APIs and data repositories.
